    Saalafball is a countryball located in Europeball bordered by Belgiumball and Netherlandsball on the west, Germanyball on the north and east, and the North Sea on the south. It is one of the few muslim majority countryballs in Europe and is the only European countryball with Arabic as an official language

    History

    First Arab Settlers and Conversion of Natives (998-1134)

    A bunch of Arabballs decided to sail and settle another land. Huge waves of people were brought in from all across the Caliphateball to find a new home to settle. They then find a seemingly empty area in Europeball, so they of settle it and call it North Arabiaball. They encounter people in the east, called Pomeranis, which migrated from Pomeraniaball and called this place East Pomeraniaball. The settlerballs and the pomeraniballs fought eachother until the settlerballs came out victorious, but they decided to not ethnically cleanse the pomeraniballs and convert them to Islam and admix with them. The tribal settlerballs land became bigger, and European christian kingdomballs started to take notice.

    Merhan Emirateball (1134-1345)

    The Merhan Emirateball was formed as a union between the Arab Settlerballs to protect themselves from enemies from all sides. Holy Roman Empireball tried to attack them twice but failed. The Merhan Emirateball then became the most wealthy state in Medieval Europeball because it didn't have feudalism, and was of operatings like back in Middle Eastball, with all the science and stuff from there too

    Feudalism and Civil War (1345-1548)

    The Merhan Emirateball collapsed and North Arabian society gets brought into feudalism again, with many different tribeballs forming their own small "Balda" where they rule over everything. It was of very difficult times and the tribes kept fighting with eachother. There was one tribe who aimed to end it all, The Salfi Tribe. They were in control of the biggest city, Assoumouraball. But the Christian Kingdomballs supported the other tribes. Holy Roman Empireball tried to invade the Salfi tribe land but it was unsuccessful, and by 1548, the Salfi tribe had taken over all of North Arabiaball, and the leader Oman Bin Salf named the new emirate Saalafball, after the tribe.

    Saalafi Emirate and Colonialism Attempt (1548-1799)

    Saalafball did not of joinings the 30 years war, but it did of attempt colonialism in Rhode Islandball and Nicaraguaball. They were kicked out by Englandball and Spainball quickly. Saalafball took revenge on Spainball by taking Florida Islandball and Panamaball and kept them (except Panamaball which was ceded to Colombiaball in 1837)

    Napoleonic Wars and Revolution (197 app7-1868)

    Saalafball was involved in the Napoleonic Wars on Imperial Franceball's side, so it of lost and the winning powers installed a Habsburg monarchy in the country. Saalafis did not like this at all and they revolted against the Habsburg monarchs like what happened in Franceball, troops from Austrian Empireball came to intervene. Ottoman Empireball was funding the revolutions alongside Swedenball and Russiaball which made it successful, and the Habsburg monarch was overthrown, and a new monarchy got put in place, ruled by distant relatives to the Salfi family

    Reforms and Emigration Waves (1868-1903)

    Saalafball was having a massive population decline, and the Prime Minister decided the way to solve the population decline was by brining in immigrants from Muslim Countryballs and putting them in. Groups of immigrants came in from muslim kingdoms in Africaball, South East Asiaball, Bosniaball, arab immigrants from Levantball, Iraqball and Yemenball, muslim Indiaballs... and Saalaf of absorbed two Muslim German kingdoms from conquest by Prussiaball. It also began to industrialize

    Violence Between Ethnicities and German Absorption (1903-1947)

    Violence ravaged the country between ethnicities suddenly, that was because the newly appointed prime minister had a preference for Levantball emigrants and treated everyone else bad. The king, in a way to stop this from escalating, let Germanyball absorb the country. It was of suffering the same pain as the Germans in The Great Depression, and Hitler put Saalafi Jews in concentration camps and killed a lot of them. There was Saalafi Resistance hidden away and it managed to take over the country with the help of Allied forces. The US occupied the whole country and wrote a new constitution for a federal republic, and the Saalafis voted for their president.

    First Decades of the Republic and Modern Emigration Waves (1947-1990)

    Saalafball was created and in 1948 it participated in the Arab-Israeli War, and it occupied Haifa, until it left the war. The country saw a gradual economic growth in the 50's, it decided to join the predecessor to EUball, and seeked closer diplomatic ties with other countryballs, including acting as the mediator between USAball and USSRball. It was really of not wantings war. It also had modern emigration waves of people from Vietnamball, Lebanonball, Mexicoball, Muslim African Countryballs, Pakistanball and Chinaball to continue the economic and demographic growth in the country.

    Government Controversies (1990-2012)

    A new political party emerged in the Saalafi Paraliment: The Free Party. It of promised the people of Saalafball a new and better future, when the first president got elected in 1990, he made peace negotiations with Israelcube, which made people very mad. In 1994, Saalafball officially started recognizing Israelcube, many protesters took to the paraliment directly but they were suppressed by the police. The Free Party lost in the 1999 election and was replaced with another party. The new president decided to integrate the Euro into the country and have the Schengen area to communicate with other EUball members. But in the 2003 election, the Free Party won again, which a lot suspect was election fraud, and the new president decided to cut ties and withdraw recognition of Palestineball in 2005, which led to mass protest across the country, but the protesters were shut down. They won again in the 2007 election after making people forget about the 2005 incident and sent direct aid to Israelcube. The Free Party finally lost in 2012, getting replaced with the Liberal Party, which has own elections the years since.

    Re-Arabization and Further Economic Growth (2012-present)

    The new president elected, while she was of jew, showed complete opposition to Israelcube's occupation of Palestineball, and her first acts as president, was to recognize Palestineball again. She also helped Saalafball join other European Agencyballs, and got the country into Arab Leagueball in 2013. After Israelcube attacked Gazaball, Saalafball withdrew their recognition of Israelcube. The country started trading with other Arabballs, providing them food from the european farms, and sending aids to countryballs in war. It also fought against ISISball. It legalized pork too (with disclaimer that any product with it has to be labeled as "not halal"). It helped other countries with COVID in 2020, and severed relations with Russiaball in 2022 because of their invasion of Ukraineball, and Israelcube in 2023 because of their strong attacks on Gazaball.
