Santa Angelica, officially the Commonwealth of Santa Angelicaball, is a constitutional monarchy in North America. It has maritime borders with File:Viridi-icon.png Viridi, File:Esperanza-icon.png Esperanza, File:Felicia and Lorelei-icon.png Lorelei, and File:Verdana-icon.png Verdana.
It is the only constitutional monarchy in North America that is not a Commonwealth Realm. The monarchy, which, until 2009, also claimed the throne of the UK, was installed in 1979 by the 
CIA, replacing a democratically-elected 
Vlokist leader, and was an absolute monarchy for 2 months, before Queen Theresa I declared a Westminster-style constitutional monarchy.
The line of succession in Santa Angelica is matriarchal: a prince/king only ascends to the throne if the dead or abdicated queen has no daughters/princesses to become queen. There have been 3 queens so far (Theresa I, 1979-1987 (died of natural causes); Alexis, 1987-2002 (assassinated by a 
Jasminian terrorist); Theresa II, 2018-present (the current queen)), and only one king (Luther, 2002-2018 (abdicated and became the King Father)).
