Viridi was formed in 1963, after a 2-year-long revolution in what was then a region of British Eruolaurentia. The goal was to enforce separation of church and state, and to remove alleged pedophiles from the British colonial government for the region. Both of these ideals are still reflected today.
Like how Rawsonball cosplays as Brendan from Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire, Viridi cosplays as the king of pedo-hunters himself, Chris Hansen. His show "To Catch a Predator" is still rerun in Viridi.
