The Philippinesball, officially known as the Empire of the Philippinesball, is flipping its flag a sovereign archipelagic countryball in Southeast Asia in the western Pacific Ocean. He does not border any country due to being an archipelago in the Pacific but is located North of Malaysiaball, Southeast of Chinaball, South of 
Taiwanball, East of File:Vietnam-icon.png Vietnamball, and West of File:Palau-icon.png Palauball. The country is divided into 38 provinces, 3 federal territories, and 1 self-governing sultanate, with the capital Manilaball located in the homonymous province, giving him a total area of 144,300 square miles (374,000 Square Kilometers), making him the 64th largest country in the world. As of 2018, he maintains a population of 94.61 million inhabitants.
Like all countries, the Philippines is a member of UNball, and due to having close ties with the West, he is able to become a major non-NATO ally. He was the chairman of ASEANball, but it later passed it on File:Singapore-icon.png Tringapore. His national day is on June 12.
History
The Community As A Boat (Precolonial Epoch)
The Philippinesball was first inhabited by Negritos, then they were supplanted by File:1-icon.png Malay-Polynesians who established city-states known as Barangays. When Chinese, Indians, and Arabs arrived in the Philippines, the barangays developed into several competing prehispanic states which were: the huangdoms of Ma-i and Pangasinan, the kingdoms of Tondo, Maynila and Namayan, the Kedatuan of Madja-as, the rajahnates of Butuan and Cebu and the sultanates of Lanao, Maguindanao, and Sulu.
These states were under the domination of 
Majapahitball and then, the Manila, Tondo and Sulu soon came to be invaded by File:Brunei-icon.png Bruneiball, with the rest of the Philippine prehispanic states going to war against Bruneiball. Their strategic location in Asia made them an especially important hub for trade, earning them the title of "Pearl of the Orient".
The State as a Convent (Spanish Era File:Spanish-Empire-icon.png)
In 1521, File:Spanish-Empire-icon.png Spanish Empireball, sailing from Latin-America, gasped and invaded these islands states, naming the territory "Las Islas Filipinas" (King Philip the Second's Penthouse of Death.) Later on, File:Spanish-Empire-icon.png Spainball landed in Limasawa Island in 1521 and held the first Catholic Mass in the Philippines. He then found Cebu Islandball where he met the first few natives. After converting some of the natives, Spainball received a complaint from one of the Rajahs about another Rajah who doesn't want to recognize Spain's influence, Rajah Lapu-Lapu. Determined to teach this "infidel" a lesson, Spain launched an attack on the island of Mactan. But since it's low tide season the galleons cant get in the small harbor, so Spainball and his men went on waist-deep water, Only to be ambushed and "Injured" by Rajah Lapulapu. 
Spanish Empireball then left the Philippines, only to return in 1565, starting the long 333 years of File:Spanish-Empire-icon.png Spanish Empireball rule over the Philippines.
Spainball quickly organized his new colony according to his model. The first task was the reduction or relocation of native Philippinesballs into settlements. The earliest political system used during the conquista period was the encomienda system, which was relevant in 
Europeball. Spainball's friars, governors, and generals governed the Philippinesball in exchange for their services to the King. Spainball also made a law to collect tributes to Phil. In return, Phil would get justice and governance and aid during an invasion. In 1646, Dutch Republicball attacked Philippinesball to avenge what Spainball did to him in 1581. Spainball outsmarted Dutchball and thus, it was a Spanish Victory.
It was then ruled by File:Viceroyalty of New Spain-icon.png New Spainball and together, Phil's economy raised during their galleon trade of the 1800s. But when New Spainball became File:First Mexican Empire-icon.png Mexicoball, closed the Manila-Acapulco route and thus, they did not see each other again until Phil's Independence. Due to this, Spainball governed Phil directly from Madrid, causing many problems from corrupt friars.
In 1823, the brave 
Andrés Novales, pissed about the way Latino (Criollo) soldiers were being treated in the Spanish army, revolted and seized the entirety of the city of Intramuros. When Andrés's brother Mariano "accidentally" opened the gates to Fort Santiago, Spainball rushed to realize she was too late and was eventually defeated by the rebelballs and everyone else in Manilaball's clay. On June 2, 1823, the independence of the Philippines was declared, but it took him 2 years to be fully recognized by the world and submitted to 
Japanball as a protectorate/client state of him in 1829.
The Trials of Recency (Imperial Era 
)
The bottom part of Philippinesball, File:Sultanate of Sulu-icon.png Sultanate of Suluball rebelled against Philippinesball, but did not fully anschlused Suluball until 1859. Thus the Sultanate was defeated at the same time Novales died. Japanball into helping Philippinesball to make navy by himself, and he also became 2nd-best naval power alongside its puppet master Japan, with his flag being flown at ports around the world. He then anschlussed Sabahball from 
Bruneiball in 1879, but Philippinesball fought too well, so he asked 
UKball to negotiate land cessions to give Brunei and UK fair treatment, before allowing Maguindanaoball and File:Sultanate of Sulu-icon.png Suluball to rule in ceremonial only. His friendship with Japanball also let him into annexing Palauball and some of Caroline Islands.
World War II 
File:Kuomintang-icon.png Chinese Unionball suddenly attacked Philippinesball after the Bombing of Shuri with landings on Luzon. Fighting ended in a Chinese win on the 8th of May, 1942 thus Philippinesball was "liberated" from Japanese hegemony. The Republic of the Philippinesball and other Philippinesball citizens got angry at the government. Japanball left Philippinesball for 3 years and when Japan was counter-attacking the table into their side after the the Battle of Guadalcanal, Philippinesball's navy helped 
USAball and Japanball to defeat Chinaball, with his partisans destroying Chinese ships. After 2 years they pushed through the territory of File:Kuomintang-icon.png Chinese Unionball to finally reach Philippinesball. Landing on the 28th of October, 1945, Carlos II led Philippine forces into Manila by himself (one of the last times this happened), defeating File:Kuomintang-icon.png Chinaball and liberating his clay.
Showplace of Democracy in Asia? (Postcolonial Era)
In 1954, the Philippines fought alongside Japan in the Korean Independence War and led to the famed battle of Yultong which was a Filipino victory (but Japan lost the war). After the 1953 parliamentary election, Ramon Magsaysay was elected. He was a car mechanic before he was a guerilla leader in WW2. He was considered by Filipinos as the best prime minister they had. He ended the Huk rebellion and opened the Shukusha palace to the 'Tao' or the common man. He even let USAball docked to his ports in his Vietnam War in 1967. Philippinesball had lots of unskilled workers that he put into factories while Japanball became into high tech. As a result he became known as "The Workshop of Asia" and Philippinesball can into making cheaper goods.
He into annexing Sabahball for good when Insulindiaball had his temper tantrum with commieballs in 1964. In 1997 he got hit by the Asian Financial Crisis even though his otosan Japanball was mainly unaffected. The crisis into causing riots with Maguindanaoball and combined with racist policies against Muslims and Maguindanaoballs. In July 1998 there was a riot in Nueva Vergaraball and Philippinesball began into having mental crisis because his people got mad at the government, before Prime Minister Esteban Estrada was forced to resign. The unrest continued but political reforms managed to save the day.
As time progressed, Philippinesball can into trade with Japanball, Chinaball, File:EFTA-icon.png EFTAball and UKball. It can into economy and File:Spain-icon.png Spainball brought some immigrants to make Philippines inhabitable. Philippinesball was considered as the "Pearl of the Orient" by that time since it can into civilization and class. Also it can into trash-to-energy. On 23 July 2017, the Philippine government security forces and Islamic State militants started a five month long battle in Dansalanball. Dansalanball is, to this day, recovering from the battle.
On June 1 2023, he into celebrating his 200th birthday as a country.
Personality
Philippinesball is known for being very polite, hospitable, friendly, hard-working, patriotic, protective and industrious to those people with a boss-like mentality or a true ally. He likes traditions and he would like to preserve them. He is known to have Pinoy Pride - a Filipino mentality where in they get proud at the littlest or biggest international recognition because they love their country and want their country to be most famous in the world. This is so prevalent in Filipinos that everytime you say the word "Philippines" in an online forum, a lot of Filipinos go crazy. You can try this by looking at the mirror during midnight, and say "Philippines" three times. He is usually triggered when called "Province of Chinaball".
He is a Third World Country and acts like one. He usually likes drinking beer (though it is now avoiding it), having fiestas, and playing street games. He is also really fond of using the internet and is known to be the Selfie Capital of the World. Philippinesball is always updated about everything about social media especially when it is about men and women who are pretty. He is VERY squeamish when movies have bad endings, because Philippinesball is very religious, thinks villains winning is Satanic, and is concerned for the actors affected.
Those mentioned are usual, but still its people can be a little against with the others due to "oppression" and "discrimination", these mentioned are claims of Visayans to the Tagalogs. It's common for Tagalogs, Visayans, Kapampangans, Ilocanos and other groups of people in the Philippines to attack each other through words but those are mostly just for the sake of sarcastic reasons, and the people of the Philippines are very united. Right now, Philippinesball is going through tough times that's why he is experiencing mood swings, as if in the puberty stage. He just needs to remove corruption in its country to be able to shed his flaws and finally shine as a prosperous country.

And Philippines need Japanese monies, so they love it and forgot all about World War II which why there are some Japayukis. Philippines also love anime, some of the major TV stations broadcast it every morning, and it's also partially thier fault Murphy and Mitzi can into beloved characters in the Philippines.- File:Spain-icon.png España (sometimes) - His real crappy mother that used to be slapbox rich but now is much poor and miserable. Even though Philippines hates how his mother disciplined him as a child, he still loves her for teaching him Christianity and how to "properly" celebrate Christmas. Spain still blames her son for Magellan's death and in turn, Phil will ALWAYS ignore her on Mother's Day. Phil never seems to love her as much as he loves Japan which confuses some country balls for Spain is the longest of all colonization (333 years).
